Facilities Assistant
Janitorial Technician

Salary Range:
Competitive/Periodic monthly incentives
Part-time hourly, 15-30 hours per week. Looking for Weekend & Holiday availability
Position Purpose:
Assist in maintaining church property, ensuring it is clean, professional, and safe to utilize in fulfilling the mission of Pathway Church.
Skills needed:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, stand, and work for extended periods
- Ability to perform routine custodial & maintenance tasks
- Ability to understand written instructions, such as checklists and room set-up requirements
- Use a carpet shampooer and vacuum
- Background check required prior to employment
- HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, and Janitorial experience is highly desired
- Self-Starter
Essential Functions:
- Resolve any safety matters immediately. Resolve and/or inform the Director of Facilities.
- Check the list of daily tasks, routinely cleaning all areas of the church building.
- Watch for trash and spills, even if not on a daily list, and resolve them immediately.
- Inventory cleaning supplies.

Crew Praise & worship Leader
Reports To: Director of Music
Position Type: Part-Time (10 Hours/Week)
Target Audience: Crew Middle School & High School Students
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Student & Youth Worship Leader spiritually shepherds and musically guides the youth ministry’s worship environment. This role focuses on leading engaging, Christ-centered worship services while actively discipling student musicians and tech volunteers. The ideal candidate blends musical competency with a passionate heart for youth ministry.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spiritual & Pastoral Leadership
- Model Discipleship: Maintain a vibrant, growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Shepherd Students: Mentor youth band members through prayer, devotionals, and intentional relationship-building.
- Foster Culture: Cultivate an authentic, distraction-free environment where teens feel safe to worship.
- Musical Direction & Service Execution
- Lead Worship: Serve as the primary worship leader (vocals and guitar/keys) for weekly youth services.
- Run Rehearsals: Organize and lead efficient weekly rehearsals, teaching parts and dynamics to student musicians.
- Plan Setlists: Select biblically sound, modern, and age-appropriate songs in alignment with youth sermon series.
- Weekend Worship: Participate in band rehearsals and services as agreed upon
- Team Recruitment & Development
- Build Teams: Recruit, audition, and onboard new student vocalists, musicians, and audio/visual tech volunteers.
- Train Leaders: Provide musical coaching to help students grow in their technical skills and stage presence.
- Schedule Volunteers: Manage weekly team schedules, ensuring all musical and tech slots are filled.
- Administration & Technology
- Coordinate Tech: Oversee planning platforms (e.g., Planning Center) to distribute charts, lyrics, and schedules.
- Manage Media: Ensure presentation software (e.g., ProPresenter) is updated weekly with correct lyrics and backgrounds.
- Collaborate Weekly: Meet regularly with the production team and the student ministry team to coordinate service flows, themes, and special events.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Faith: A clear, visible commitment to faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with the church’s doctrinal statements.
- Talent: Strong vocal ability with proficiency in leading worship on an acoustic guitar or keyboard.
- Relational Skills: High emotional intelligence with a proven ability to connect with, motivate, and manage teenagers.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience participating in or leading worship in youth ministry settings (preferred).
